Most excellent ride outside today. As my buddy says... "GET OUT SIDE" He thinks I ride indoors too much, I probably do. Anyway, it was a gorgeous day so I packed my bags for a schedule 3 hour ride. As I headed out the door, I decided that it would be cool to go ahead and log 60 miles on the day. I headed out and immediately felt strong, much stronger than normal when I first head out. That feeling was to stay with me throughout the ride. I ended up logging 59.8 miles with an average speed for the entire route of 18.3 miles per hour!!! I've been averaging 17.6 for most of my rides and this was not outside of a normal effort level. Just one of those days where everything clicked. An awesome day.
