As suspected the end of the month is illuminating the end in sight for the projects at work. I've been working some crazy hours and traveling, both of which are bad for my training. Not only because I don't get out there and get after it, but also because it's damn near impossible to eat a decent meal in a crowd.
Regardless, I'm dedicated to having a great 2005, and a strong today makes tomorrow possible. 4 miles on the treadmill and 45 minutes worth of core and strength work. I'll pay tomorrow when I pick it up and do it again.
Well I haven't been posting even though I said that I would. But, I have managed to keep some semblance of fitness going. I'm mixing in roller rides, 30 minute runs, and core workouts whenever I can get them in. It's highly unstructured, my abs feel like they are going to implode, and my legs feel like lead after a 45 minute run.... don't you just love this stuff? :)
After this current trip to Atlanta I hope to get my long runs going again. So far my longest has been an hour and that's a long way from the 31 miles I'm due to run in December. And my parents always thought I was the smart one....
